CentricsIT named one of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces
Work conditions listed as company’s strength
ATLANTA, March 18 —- In today’s economic climate, many men and women are grateful just to have jobs, let alone jobs they love. But employees at 100 surveyed companies in Atlanta can appreciate their jobs a little bit more this week—including the staff at CentricsIT.
On Sunday, April 17, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution published Top Workplaces 2011, a list of the best places to work in the Metro Atlanta area. CentricsIT was named to the list, ranking 38th in the “Small Companies” category. The company was listed in a special section of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and online (http://ajc.topworkplaces.com/survey/resultslist/atlanta_11). The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program was based on feedback from an employee survey that CentricsIT staff completed in the Fall.
“Of all the accolades and awards we’ve received as a company, I am most proud of this one,” said Derek Odegard, President of CentricsIT. “The entire executive team knows that our staff works hard and spends a lot of time in the offi ce. It is important to us that our employees enjoy coming in to work.”
The survey, conducted by Workplace Dynamics, measured values such as work conditions, workplace culture, company leadership, and company direction. CentricsIT achieved an outstanding score for work conditions, which is not surprising considering the putting green in the lobby, game room, gym, or monthly catered
lunches. One anonymous survey response reads, “The work atmosphere is fun and positive. I feel like CentricsIT cultivates an environment that embraces the “work hard, play hard” mentality and makes it easy to come to work every day.”
CentricsIT, LLC, which launched in 2007, is a surplus technology distributor and IT maintenance provider based in Norcross, GA.
