Premier Atlanta business publication names surplus IT distributor to annual list for the first time
ATLANTA, Ga., Oct. 25, 2011 — The Atlanta Business Chronicle released its annual list of Atlanta’s Top 100 Private Companies on Friday, Oct. 21. Cracking the exclusive list for the first time, CentricsIT ranks 98th amongst other Atlanta-based private companies, such as Chick-Fil-A, Kauffman Tire and Cox Enterprises. CentricsIT, American Global Logistics, and HD Supply, all formed in 2007, are the youngest companies on the 2011 list.
“We’re excited to be ranked this year,” said CentricsIT President Derek Odegard. “Atlanta is a great business city, and we’re proud to be headquartered here amongst the other successful organizations on the list. As a young company, continuing to grow and improve as a business is important to us. We are more committed than ever to providing the best IT solutions possible for our loyal and growing customer base—here in Atlanta and all over the world.”
Its inclusion in the Top 100 is the seventh overall recognition that CentricsIT has received in 2011. Its other accolades this year include: the Inc. 5000, the Computer Reseller Network (CRN) VAR500 for the third consecutive year, the CRN Fast Growth 100 for the second consecutive year, Georgia Trend Magazine’s Fast 40, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s list of Top Workplaces.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle, owned by American City Business Journals, is the premier print and digital publication for business men and women in Atlanta. As one of the Top 100 private companies, CentricsIT will be included in the publication’s Book of Lists, out December 2011.
