Gold-Certified Partner to host exclusive F5 security demo and college basketball watch party
NORCROSS, Ga., Mar. 6 —Defending the net is crucial to any organization’s success, whether in the data center or on the basketball court. In conjunction with the NCAA college basketball tournament, CentricsIT and F5 Networks are offering select networking professionals the chance to practice their network defense at a live F5 security demonstration dubbed Defend Your Net.
Attendees will be treated to an afternoon of live college basketball, lunch, and an intensive F5 demo with personalized Q&A session. Representatives from CentricsIT, F5 Networks, and F5 distributor Avnet will also attend the event, to be held Mar. 23, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Patrick Kidd, F5, will deliver two in-depth training sessions focusing on F5’s Application Security Manager (ASM) and Access Policy Manager (APM). Kidd will demo the licensed solutions on the state-of-the-art Viprion 2400’s enterprise-grade chassis architecture and showcase the F5 Management plug-in for VMware vSphere to demonstrate F5’s dynamic provisioning capabilities and seamless integration. The demo will be split in two hourlong sessions, with a break to watch the NCAA tournament in between. The event will end with an iPad2 raffle and happy hour.
