ATLANTA, October 3, 2017 – CentricsIT, a global leader in IT lifecycle management solutions, volunteered its professional experience by working with students at Junior Achievement USA.
CentricsIT was on site at the Junior Achievement Chick-fil-a Foundation Discovery Center, helping 7th and 8th grade students take part in an activity that shaped their understanding of economic endeavors in our world today.
“We believe that we have a responsibility to educate and foster these students’ entrepreneurial aspirations,” said Derek Odegard, CentricsIT President and CEO. “Junior Achievement provides a backbone for these children’s dreams and pushes them to strive for success.”
Junior Achievement provides programs for elementary through high school students that pushes them to strive for a greater understanding of economics, business concepts, and entrepreneurship. At Junior Achievements, the goal is to inspire children not only to chase their dreams, but also how to succeed in doing so.
When Junior Achievement was founded in 1919 by Theodore Vail, it consisted solely of an after-school program. Today, Junior Achievement is an in-school and after-school program that serves more than 10 million students in over 100 countries. CentricsIT joined the force of nearly 237,680 classroom volunteers and made a difference in these children’s futures.
