Power Savings
HP ProLiant BL460c G7 servers have Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3) management processors that serve to simplify server setup. They also have health monitoring and recovery, power and thermal control that use Thermal Logic technologies to reduce power consumption and airflow, and lights-out remote administration. HP ProLiant BL460c G7 servers offered by CentricsIT use the C7000 enclosure, which is built with four or ten Active Cool 200 fans as standard for redundancy and improved power consumption and acoustics. Additional Active Cool 200 Fan kits can be added for up to a maximum of 10 fans. The C7000 enclosure also offers redundant hot-plug cooling, redundant hot-plug power supplies, redundant connections, redundant interconnect modules, optional redundant BladeSystem Onboard Administrator management modules and full AC redundancy—with no power zones.

Note that Insight Control supports both Windows and Linux-based central management servers. Another major advantage of the HP ProLiant BL460c G7 and the HP ProLiant Blades in general is small dimensions, which allow them to take up less space in comparison to rack-mounted devices. With the recent popularity of virtualization, this offers an important benefit to many customers.
Maximum Performance
HP Insight Dynamics is another product option for ProLiant servers and serves as an integrated command center, enabling IT personnel to continuously analyze and optimize a converged infrastructure. HP offers two different c-Class server blade enclosures to meet your company’s needs. The HP BladeSystem c7000 rack enclosure is 10U high and holds up to sixteen (16) ProLiant BL460c
G7 servers plugged vertically. The HP BladeSystem c3000 rack enclosure is 6U high and holds up to eight (8) HP ProLiant BL460c G7 servers plugged horizontally.
